Crinoid Fossil Stud Earrings
Made with recycled silver using a mould of a Lyme Regis crinoid stem section I found near the Black Ven on the Jurassic Coast, these fossil earrings are handmade so each pair is slightly different.
Crinoids are related to sea urchins and thrived in the Palaeozoic era 300 million years before the dinosaurs. Crinoids found in Lyme often come from the Lower Lias and are therefore around 180 million years old.
These are the perfect gift for geology, dinosaur and natural history lovers and beachcombers alike.
Recycled sterling silver pins and butterfly backs.
