Crinoid Fossil Necklace
Made with recycled silver using a mould of a Lyme Regis crinoid stem section I found near the Black Ven on the Jurassic Coast, these fossil charms are handmade so each is slightly different.
Crinoids are related to sea urchins and thrived in the Palaeozoic era 300 million years before the dinosaurs. Crinoids found in Lyme often come from the Lower Lias and are therefore around 180 million years old.
These are the perfect gift for geology, dinosaur and natural history lovers and beachcombers alike.
You can choose from either an imprint of the fossil, or a replica of it, or both. They are approximately 7mm wide, and just a few millimeters in thickness. These are dainty charms, that are perfect for everyday wear, hardly noticeable on the neck. These come on a 16' recycled silver trace chain. If you order two charms it will come on one chain.
Please note, these are made to order so may take a few days to post.
